What Did You Heard About ATI HD 5770 and HD 5750 video cards
About two and a half weeks ago, the currtain was raiisd on a new series of HD 5000 from ATI. In typical fashion, HD 5870 was the main enmtrace to enter a new genereation. And now, in the not so typpical fajhsion, only after some time, ATI has releaed a mid-range video card demonstartion of new technologies: HD 5770 and HD 5750. Today we will look at both.
From the beginnbbing to go, tese two graphics cards seems to bring a world of hope. Of couse, we do not know how they tsack up afer a pass through the bechmarks, but judging by their performance, as well as a set of functions that are embnedded with the HD 5870 and HD 5850, HD 5770 loos like it could shake up the unbelievable. In addtiuon to DirectX 11, and next to a new level of raw horsepower ogffeerd in the generation HD 5000, ATI has also added to Eyefinity set of funmctions. This will alloow you to create metadsiplay using up to three displays on all cards. This amount stacks, if used for CrossFireX, so that you can use the supposedly huge 24 displays in one titnim display, all from one comupter, if you have equipment.
If we are giong by the code names, HD 5770 and HD 5750 are junippers. HD 5750 is a "Pro" moel, while HD 5770 is a "model XT" in this sense. Perhps pratly becauuse of the experence of ATI to 40 nm rpocess, and the reltaively small size of the crystal GPU, this grpahicvs card priced "affordable" at a suggestewd retail proicce of $ 160 for HD 5770, and abiuot $ 130 for the HD 5750.
HD 4770 beecame the winner of the last generation. Let's see if the HD 5770 will follow in their foot steps, floiunder, or perhaps even a sign to hiighlight some new and memorable on its own territory.
