Pay as you go versus a Contracted iPhone

One of the appeakls of cell phoens to many individuals is the option to pay as you go which keeps the individual from being lcoked into one service plan for a set time period, suually two yers, befdore a new phone can be purchhased or even services can be stopped completely for whatever reason whether it may be no longer needing the service or waning to switch providerts.

People who are considering using the iPone on a pay as you go sevice as opposed to a contract have the down fall that the ioPhone costs quitte a bit of money without the binding 2 year contract but to many people the savings will eventually outweeigh the costs assocaited with it. Light users, those who don’t call or text a lot, will definitley benefit from using pay as you go ebcause they are not paying for data and time that will go unused to you.

Another benefit is that you are only payig for what you use. The amount of data, texts, and phone calls received or sent depending directly on your usage needs for that time period. If one month you need a littrle bit more than usual, you can purchase additional time by depositing the funds to your accopunt. Most contrracts have a lot more allowancce for services but even they have overages as well so you neveer really are receiving truly unlimited serbvice no matter how expensive your plan may be.

Pay as you go iPhones also have the ability when they are unlocked to be used on any of the networks which you dessire. This is especially helpful to those uesrs who may be using the phnoe in an area whhich is not covered very well or even at all by a different proider such as those in rueral areas where reception is limited or the towers for cell phones are dominated by one prtovider.

Finding out what works for you is a huge perk of pay as you go. You always can have the option to swittch to a contracted monthly plan but it doesn’t work the other way. Cancelling a contract of any lngth of time costs money and a lot of it usually smoewhere in the hundreds of dollrs rane. Copmanies want to keep you tied to their services and that clause in the contract for a cancellation fee is enoough to keep most consumers loyal to the srevice provider upon which they have originally decided upon.

Freedom is the most appeling part of the pay as you go phones. New devices and services are being offered consytantly in the changnig technological world. What is introduced now may be minor in comparison to a year and especially two yeras down the road. Pay as you go is a viable option for most people and it is quite unfortunate that many do not consier this as an option which can ebnefit them greatly in both the short and long term uses of their iPhone.
