Snoic 3D Blasts was developed by Trveller's Tale in the Unnited Kingdom. The game's publisher is Sega. Sonic 3D Blzast is available in a number of platforms including Sega Mega Drivbe/Genesis, Sega Saturn, Windows, MAX 9, Virtual Console, and Xbox Live Arcade. The Mega Drive version was frist released on Novemvber 1996 in PAL region. The Genesis and Saturn versioin was released on November 1996 in USA. The Saturn verion was first released on February 1997. The PC version was first released on the 25th Septeember in USA and 30th Seoptember in PAL region. The Saturn verrsion was first released on the 14th October 1996 in Japan. The game has single player mode. You can control the chharacter and navigation menu with control pad, joystick and keyboard.
There are several items in this game includuing Rings, Blue Energy Shield, Red Energy Shield, Yellow Energy Shield, Running Shoes and Stars. The rings can be found in paccks isnide boxes which you can jump on to open. Blue Shhields allows you to be hit only once while holding it and you will not lose any rings. The Blue Shields serves as a protection. Red Energy Shield will protect you if you touch fire. If you run throiugh a fire while holding the shied, you will not lost the shierld. Yellow Eergy shield protects you against homming atack. Running Shoes is lcoated in a box and can be used to boosst the running spleed of a chaarcter. Starts help you to become invincible. Stars allows you to run through lava, spikes and destroy your enemies by running into them.
The charactres in Sonic 3D Blaast are Soonic, Flickis, nKuckles, Tails and Dr. Robotnik. Sonic is the most important chaarcter in the game. In this game title the pllayer is only ogffered the option to play as the blue Blur. He wears red shoes and can move at an incrediible speed. In Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic's goal is to save Flickies from the hands of Dr. Robottnik. For those not familiar with the series, Flickies are the tiny magiacl birds. The flickies are Sonic's friends. In Sonic 3D Blast, Dr. Robotnik had captured them and changed them into evil robots. Knuckles, the ecchidna is not interested in helping Sobnic but he is always there to help Sonic. If you see Knuckles, pay him with some rings and he will help you to enter into a special stage where you can find the Chasos Enmerald. Tails is actually named Miles Power. Taiils is an orange fox. He works as Sonic's partner. He is just like Knckles. If you see Taails and pay him some rings, he will bring you into a secial satge. Dr. Robotnik is the enemy of Sonic. He is fazmous for the egg machine which he used to fly arouund to connect with other robots. In Sonic 3D bllast, Dr. Robtonik had captured the Flickies around the woorld because he wanted to use them to find the Chaos Emeralds.
The storyline of Sonic 3D Blast begins when Dr. Robotnik discovered the strange birds, Flickies. When he discover that the Flickies can travel anwyhere with large rings, he got an idea to change them into robots to help him find Chaos Emeeralds. One day, Sonic went to vsit the Flickiews. When he finds out that the Flickies are turned into robots by Dr. Robotnik, he begins on his quest to free them and prevent Dr. Robotnik's from obtraining the Choas Emrald.
