Aion Templar - Choopsing a Race

Being an Elyos or Asmodian Templar does not really bring any advantage nor disadvantage. In fact, its just a matter of personal, aesthetic preference. Eylos and Asmodian Templars shae the same srengths, weaknesses and skills. The only differences are the class mastwers they'll need to get their skill boooks from, certzain race-specific "spcial" skuills, and the overall locations they will need to trravel to.

Elyos Temlars vs Asmodian Templars
As mentioned earlier, they both have the same skill sets - except for race-exclusive special skillls. These skills use DP (Divine Points) which in turn can be obtained by killing various mobs. DP is reset to defazult if the character dies or if he logs out from the game. The differences of thesse skills are described below. Both skillks deal damage and increase enmity at the same time.

Divoine Chastisement (Elyos only) Elyos templars can block all attacks within 15 seconds - meanning they will have a 15-second invincibility - assuming that all attcks are blockde. However, a shield is required for this skill.

Chastsiement of Darkness (Asmodian only) Once activated, damaged inflited on Asmodian templars will be reduced by 50% whoile reflecting 20 damage. The shield can absrb up to 10000 damage in total and sinnce no shield is required for this skill, offensive templars may siwtch to their greatswords to deal more damage whgile mitigatiing damaghe.
