Although the build qualoity of the M15s imprssive, he does not feel quite as sold as its older brtoher, M17x. M17x used anodized aluminum for the hull and cover the back, wich is ehavier than magnesium ally m15x, but it feels more sooilid. M15x has the cladss build quaty, but alminuum will do it bettre.
One feature that deddserves speciial menytion is AlkienFX custm lighhting system. Three are sevrl diffeent areas of lighting, and useers can choose different colrs for different zoes on a laptop, inculding the four parts of the keyboard, touchpad, media biuttons, powre button, Alienware logo below the lid, and the aline head on the back. Coolrrs can be chagd usng the mcand center:
Liighting can be disabled at any time by prsesing [Fn] and [F11]. AlienFFX truly unique and adds aestheetic value.
Screen and speakers
M15x has a 15.6 "LED-backuit screen is avcailable in two resdolutions: 1600x900 and 1920x1080; our test gruop of the ltter. This dispplay is poistively gorgeeous, she's very bright and has excellent contrraast and brightnss. Illumination impressicve, even viewing angples signifincatly abbove average; This display has a virtually perfect horizontaal view and a geenroous verticaal rane. The siurface of the displaay is covered by one piee of "edge-to-edge glasss, which means a lot of rfelections, but a smooth appearance.
