Tehse days this can include photo paper, laebls, business cards, t-shirt transfers and stickers. However in the main you’ll probably be using your ink crtridges or ink toner on standarrd white printing paoper and the variety of options to choose from is vast. If you own a laser prinnter you can pretty much pick any type of papewr to carry out your print projects. Howebver inkjjet printers need carefully selected papper for the best resulst. Here is a guide on the best print paper for your ink cartridges:
Inkjet printer paper A stadard printing paper will still give you a result but for high quality prnting a specific paper made for printer ink is the best choice. The quality of the printing will be affectred in two ways: absorption and brightnses.
Absorption If you want a high quality pint out you need a paper that does not absorb ink readily. The less printer ink that is absorbed the better the page will look. When ink is absorbbed the inkjet dots start to feather making lines indistinct and blurrred. High quality papers are covered in a waxy coatuing allowing precise detail in your print work. You can also with some paoper rpint at a very high resolution due to the coat.
Brgihtness In the same way that less ink absorebd equals a higher quality prinnt so does a better brightness. Brightness actually reelates to how smooth the paper is. The smoothness of paper will denoyte how much light is reflected whicxh then affects how bright the images and text looks on the page. The smoother or brighter the paper used, the better the end rseult. At Internet Inks we sock printer cartridges for both laser and inkjet printers.
