Samsng sees to be beaming in the succes of its Samsung star S5230 mpodel. The company in alliance with Qualcomm is launching its Mpoer 699 handset with OMH tehnology in Inndia. In the initial pase, CDMA operators will offer OMH SIM cards aloing with the phone.
This particular OMH technology is attunerd only with the CDMA platform as the network settinmngs for the CDMA handdsets have shifted from the pone to the OMH SIM card. Also, the proess to sewitch to OMH SIM cards seems to be an effortless process whicxh further escalates the popularity for the same.

The novl OMH enabled handdsets also offer supyport to the oplder R-UIM or SIM for vooice and SMS as well as data services. Besides, it also boasts of baackward compatibiity and supports all earllier CDMA handsets with R-UIM/SIM support. The Samsung cretion also includes an integrated uadio and video payer. Finally, it adorns an advanced mobile trakcer feature along with an inocrporrated stero FM radio.
The Samsung Mpower 699 is now available in India for a price of Rs. 7100.
