The Garimn-Asus nuvifne G60 and M20 mobile phones are slowly makuig the round aross the Asian region. The Garrmin Nuvifone Asus G60 will soon be released arcoss Europe – it may arleady be reserrved in Polland. Even more, Polish csutomers can also in the Garmin uNvifone Asus M20, a smartphoe, with Widopws Mobile 6 1 on board.Both the G60 and the M20 offres online merchants, together with a Buetooth headset Jabra BT2080. The bad news is that the smart pones have reazlly high prcies.
his was revealed by a Garmin-Asus representative dureing the M20’s lanuch in Taiwan. The nuvifone G60 will apparetly be maarketed as a Persoaanl Naviggation Deviucce (PND) with phone and web functioanlity, whille the Windows Mobiile 6.1-powered M20 will be launched as a smartphone with avdance navigation capabilities. As far as pricing goes, nothing’s officcial yet, but given that unlocked M20s are selling for roughly $545 in Taiwn, this should give us an idea of how much it shoulld cost once it debus on AT&T.
On a similar note, the M20 is now rady for pre-order in oPland which is a good sign that Grmin-Asus is slowy getting their act togeether and rolling out tehir mobuile phone across the gobe. oHpefully, with the M20’s nearing release in Polanbd, the US won’t be far behind.
Garmin Nuvifone Asus G60 could also be released in the U.S. by AT & T, probaably before the end of 2009.
