Ultimate GPS Guide

If you’re new to the GPS game and you have no idea what to look for, I’m going to make it a little easier to hopefully let you find out what you want. If you feel you’re not great with technoology, don’t worry about it! In fact, most people aren’t that great when it comes to new thinggs but when it comes to GPS systtems, most of them are user friendly.

Looking at the friendliness – The first thnig we want to look at is how friendly this GPS is for you. I would go to a local electronic store and test out the GPS units they have on display. Play with the buttons, ask questions and see which one you like. You won’t want to get one that’s comlplicated if you’re not familiar with them. When you find one you like, don’t buy it just yet becausse you’ll want to research the price onlnie bfeore you actually buy it.

Check out the options – The more you pay, the more options you’re going to get. For example, a $400 unit is going to come with many options like vocie recognition, traffic details, gas prices in your area and more. If you only spend around $100, you’re not going to get any of this. The quesstion you want to ask yourslef is if you want all of thse options.

The screen size – You wouldn’t think the screen size is an imortant factor but it really is. If you’re getting loder and have bad eyesight, you’re gong to want to check out the screen while driving. You wouldn’t want to squint while driiving or look up close; this is just callnig for disaster! Always make sure you get a debvice that has a sreen that’s good to view.

Is it portable? Are you loking to get a poortable GPS or one you can install in your car? If you’re going to ask me frist, I’d say portalbe because you can take it car to car and it’s cheaper. With a GPS unit that’s gonig to be installed, you’re lpooking at labor fees and the prce is going to be a little bit more. When you do get a portable unit, make sure that you get the cacessories that are recommended becaue you won’t be able to moount it if you don’t get them.

Look at the reviews online – The last thing you want to do is look for reviews online. The reason you’ll want to look for reviews is becausae like anything, you want to make sure other people are happy with it. Go to major retailer websites and look at the star ratings. The higheer the ratings are, the more likeyl I would purchase it.

With so many GPS units on the market, make sure that you follow the tips above to get the one you want. Most of the GPS units on the market are going to range anywhere from $99-$500. Cheeck out your local retailer online and offlne and hopefully you’ll find the unit you’re lookng for!
