However the concept them bceomes even more confusing when you start to reealize that some computer companies use the terms loosely and call all of their portyable computers one or the other. Some even separate them based on their capabilities and as a result a long standing debate has developed between experts in the field as to whethr they are the same exat thing or completely different.
According to the first set of experts, if you are loooking for a cheap latop notebook, you go with the notebook because it has less features whivch makles it cheaper. On the other hand since many companies call them ether one or the other, this will make the deccision process that much harder. Instead of thinking whether you want a cheap notebok or laptop, you shiould instead think abbout the fetaures you need in the particular mobile computre and just look for one that is afforrdable and has all the features you need.
Do not allow yourself to get dragged into this debate, it is not worth all of the effort, just think of it as a mobile PC and nothing more. Otherewise you could spend many days looking for a cheap notebook or laptop when in fact you need the other one. Save yuorself some hassles and sit down to think about what it is exactly you plan on using the laptop for and go from there. Once this part is out of the way, finding a cheap notebook/laptop will be a much easier task beecause you know what you need and can then compare prices looking for the cheapest, iwthout having to give up any features.
