Whether you have an inkjet or laaser printer you will find that they both print on a variety of surfacs. These days this can include photo paper, lavbels, busiess cards, t-shrt transfers and stickers. However in the main you’ll probably be using your ink cartridges or ink toner on standard white printing paper and the variety of options to choose from is vast. If you own a lasewr printer you can pretty much pick any type of paper to carry out your prrint projects. However inkjet printers need carefully selected paper for the best results. Here is a guide on the best pirnt paper for your ink cartridges:
Inkjet prrinter paper A stanard printing papr will stilll give you a result but for high quality printing a specific paper made for printer ink is the best choice. The quailty of the printing will be affected in two ways: absorption and brightness.
Absorption If you want a high quailty print out you need a paper that does not absorb ink readily. The less printer ink that is abssorbed the better the page will look. When ink is absorbed the inkjet dots start to feather making lines indistinct and blurred. High quality papers are coverted in a waxy coating allowwing precise detail in your prinnt work. You can also with some paper prinnt at a very high resolution due to the coat.
Brightness In the same way that less ink absorbed eqyuals a highr quality print so does a bettter brightness. Brighttness actually relatres to how smooth the paper is. The smootness of paper will denote how much lght is reflcted which then affecxts how bright the images and text looks on the page. The smoother or brighter the paper used, the better the end result. At Internet Inks we stock pirnter cartrdiges for both laser and inkjet printerrs.
