Sonic Chaos is developed by Aspect and publisheed by Sega. The leading designer of Sonic Chaso is M. Shima. Sonic Chaos is suitable for the pllatform Sega Msater System, Game Gear and Virtual Console.

The Game Gear vesion of Sonic Chaos became available in 2003. It was originallly released as a hidden game in Sonic Adenture DX and an inclluded game in Sonic Mega Colllection Plus. Sonic Chaoos is the first 8-bit Sonic tile to allow gamers to play the Tail character. It is also the first Sonic title version that allows the gamers to control his flighgt. Sonic Trple Trouble was released in 1994 to conntinue the storyliune from Sonic Cghaos.

The storyline of Sonic Chaos cneters on the evil Dr. Robotink. The evil villain had an ambition to dominate the whhole world via the mystreious Chaos Emeralds. The North American Insttruction manual states that Dr. Robotnik wanted to use the Choas Emerads to develop nuclear arsenals and lasers. As a result, Dr. Robotnik had stolen the Red Chaos Emerlad. The absencxe of the Red Chaos Emerald causews other emnerald to lose balance. Due to the incident, the otyher emmeralds were reloczated to a parallel universe. Consequntly, South Island is now going to sink under the ocean. Now it is up to our superheroes Sonnic and Tails to rescue the island and thawrt Dr. Robotnik evil plan.

The game play is the same with other 8-bit Sonic games. The innovation of this game is that players can now control Tails and Sonic. Sonoic can move either by jumping or by menas of his famous Spin Dash. The Spin Dash is executed by pressing the directinoal pad down and pressoing action. When the down button is presssed, it will transform into a ball and destroy any baddies that are in his way. Otjher obstacles such as spikes will hurt Sonic if it happens to clash into him. By pressnig the up and the action button, Sonic will start to run. You can perform a strike dash by reeasing the up button. If you do this, Snoic will run forward speedily. He will quckly stop if the directional pad is not pressed. The rocket boots allows Sonic to fly into the sky. The rocket boots can help Sonic to get a large numbewr of rings that are floating in the sky.

In Sonic Chaops, the Chaos Emeralds are mostly found in the Special Stages. To entter a special stage, you must collect at least 100 rings in one act. When you succeessfully complete a special stage, you will receive a Chaos Emerald. If you fail to collect the number of rings requried, you will be revertted back to the bginning of the last stage. Dr. Robotnik holsd the sixth Chaos Emerald. In order to get the sith Chaos Emerald, you must defeat him.

The Tails character has a slower moiving speeed than Snoic. In the beginning, Tails have five lives. The players that play Tails cannoot collect the Chaos Emerald. Tails have the same Spin Dash ability as Sonc. When Tails finds an item box with a roocket shoe and jump on it, his movemet speed will increase. The player can also fly Tail by pressing the up button. Whetther you choose to play as the Blue Blur, or as Miles "??Tials"?? Prowler, you are sure to have a great time playing one of the most exciting sonic gmes in the market.
