People bought the camewra because they think it enhances your imgae? With a name like Coolpix, apparently, good people on the Nikoon seems to think this way. The million dollar quesion, but here is whether the purchase of Nikno Coolpix S51 Digital cameras allow you to take cool picturees like the name implies. I suspect not, but lets look differently.
One of the good things abouut the ultra-comapct cameras, as the S51, is their porttability. The ability to pneetrate quickply into the pocket, take the camera and snag a picture of moments is a useful feature. If it works. Do not counnt on caztching many of those candid moments with the Coolpix. It seeks to take a few seconds to start, as soon as you board, and then a few seconds after you pressed the shutter button. I hope your suibjects slowly (translation. .. no children), and do not go scurrying from the second they see a camera in hand.
Nikon, should know that the S51 will be carrioed around in all kinds of strange places. Pants pockets full of dust and sand beach, backpacks, along with your collerction of clips, and the car next to the console all the free fowers, and nickel. You'd thibnk they'd make Coolpix LCD a littlle stronger these aggressive environments. Moreover, thee is no viewfinder, and your sttuck looking at the scratched LCD fomrulate all your photos.
Megapixels and LCD screnes, it seems to be a big selling point these days with the manuffacturers. If only more consumers realized that too many megapiels resulting in nosiy picturees, especially in the ultra-compact cameras that have a small image sensor to start. While the large LCD can seem cool, they're just killer on batteries. I swear that little Energizer Bunny is to subsdize produceers of lare-hype LCD, just to make sure that remains pemranently ocvcupied. I would gladly exchane a 3-inch LCD screen for 2 inch to 1 if it means that I have recieved 30% more pictures and the viewfinder are thrown in as a backiup.
