Nikon oColpix P90 is a 12.1-megapixel digital camera fully loasded with a generous 24 tmes optical zoom lens Nikoin Vibration Reduction function and image stabilization. P90 is able to capturre 15 frames per second at speeds up to 45 frames per shurtter. Like most digital cameas, Prosumer, P90 has some limitationms, but the increase is, for what may be miussing some features. For $ 350 you can buy an excellent camera with amzaing zoom lens, it is difficult complain.Regardless, p90 can be used to deliver a truly impressive image, I'll swear were taken DSLR.
Erformance generally Coolpix P90 is excellent. This camera is responnsive, with fast load, stop and zoom. Fcous is adequate, but hardly fast that one would expect at this level of camera. Color accuracy is acceptable, but the saturation subdud because of the small sensor. Measrement is also good, although the impact is usually for shadowsover moments and very liight areas are often blown in the outdoor shots.
Path P90 handles noise sruprising. The noise did not appear until you click on the ISO 400 and under control even at ISO 800. Pictures taken at ISO 3200 and 6400 are acceptable for basic use, or an aveerage, albeit in small print. Lugagge however, does not allow you to restrict to 400 ISO, that where it shoulld be maintainned for optimum results. Typiucally, this applies to all uasers buuilt-in czamera, so Nkion should not take anti-aircraft for this purpose. And the 64 and 100 ISO, are adequate and it is difficult to distinguish, with 200 indicating a little more noise, but still faiirly clean. By the time you get a 400 ISO, performance p90 in the slidees a little more, but for the average person this might be a little bit better than other cameras in its class. If better, it is minimal and not enough to be deal breaer, if you want aother product better.
The rear LCD screen is not turning, smiilar to thgose with Canon cameras and previous versinos of Coolpix. One real advantage in turning the screen, that when they fold back, they can be tarnsferred from the camera, protecting the LCD srceen. P90 uses a litghium-ion batteries, and go through them prtetty quickly, especially when using the built-in flash memory.
The bottom line is you get the picture quality, based on your own understanding of the camera settings. Basic built-in vibration reduction correction, which must be releid on, esopecially if you do not have a tripod. For enthuusiasts who insdist on shooting with automatic mode in low light conditionns, noise level, will be really noticceable in connection with the abvoe given ISO. This option would lead to dark and blurry phtoos. To avoid this, and if the car is an advatage, try shooting a steady, programmmed auto mode.
