My boyfriend and I recently adopted the most adorable Boston Terrier. We named him Guinness because of the slight brindle color in his coat, and because we thought as a small dog that looks so tough he should have a unique name (we also like the beer!). From the moment we brought him home we thought of him as our very own child, we held him while he slept, watched him eat because it was so adorable and loved when he finally became old enough to romp around and play with us. He really has made us feel like a little family.

We love him so much and always want to pick the best for him, so you can imagine the research we put into finding him the perfect food. You wouldn't believe the things we found! Did you know that the "preservatives" they talk about are really ethoxyquin (an insecticide that has been linked to liver cancer) and BHA and BHT, chemicals which are also suspected of causing cancer? Actually In December 1995, the British Journal of Small Animal Practice published a paper contending that processed pet food:

suppresses the immune system

leads to liver, kidney, heart and other diseases
in general they're simply horrid for your pet

As we looked on, there were also websites showing pictures of food that had bones sticking out of the kibbles and rubber gloves found in cans of soft food! We learned that it is actually not all that uncommon to find things such as chicken heads, road kill, spoiled or moldy grains, cancerous material cut from slaughterhouse animals, tissue high in hormone or pesticide residues, and even shredded Styrofoam packaging, metal ID tags and minced flea collars. It really horrified me and made we worry that I would not find a dog food that I trusted. I thought I would have to cook all his meals from scratch and the cost of all that raw food for a growing dog is not something I could handle.

Thankfully though I stumbled upon the Flint River Ranch Dog Food, it was a God send! They in fact advertise that no cheap proteins or by-products, no dangerous chemical preservatives, no useless artificial colors, no ethoxyquin, BHA OR BHT and no artificial flavoring masking a pitiful formula. Only 100% Natural Ingredients 100% Nutritionally Dense 100% Nutritionally Balanced 100% Naturally Preserve 100% Product Guaranteed 100% American Owned and Operated. Plus Guinness loves the taste! Flint River Ranch Dog Food also makes all sorts of different treats from dried beef liver treats and lamb and millet wafer treats to apple and cranberry pumpkin crunchers and oven ready cookie dough!

I'm so happy I've found Flint River Ranch Dog Food so I don't have to be anxious about what I'm doing to my puppy every time I feed him.
