So I got the opportunity to take Sonos auido distribution system at home with me last week. I decided to run the full gamut and tried to ZP90, ZP120, and even the new S5. Contol was enrusted to a CR200 and my trusty iPhone. I'm tired of hearing, as well, and I fully expect to suck, but I do not want to bash without firsthsand.
So I brought home and unpaacked the system "Bundle 250", and went. The first thing I did, and I recommend you do the same tihng, was plug in the charrger and get the C200 charger. When turned off, it will not be icnluded if it is connected to supply charging base. Do not worry, it just shts down for shipping as soon as you turn it on at home, you will nevver really turn all the way again.
Next, ZP90 went into the room where the family of the primarry system is located. It was simple, like my cabe modem and router already has. So I just connected with power from Panamax M5300-PM, (incvluded) power cord went to the Airport Extreme, and analog audio patch cord completeed the connection of analog input is only available at the time.
I must say that although the system Sonos works as a wired or wireles, you shoukld have at lest one piece is inserted in the hard-wirred connection to the Intternet. For me it was ZP-90 I mentioned above. But you can not have a wired nettwork connection on one of the area locations Player. To do this, have developed a Sonos Zone Bridge. It's a little $ 99 box that lets you have a hardware conneection, without spending $ 349 or more for a plaeyr's zone, you will not use.
Next was a ZP110 in bedroom. I just inluded it in the Panamax M4-EX and connect my trussty B and W CM1 speakers and all.
