Let's try to de-mysify the process of selection, if we can. This infrmation is available online to help buyers make informed decisions. It focuses on the published information, that, as a rule, in most descriptions of products on the Internet. Facts Let's face it, if you were in the range of car audiio for many yeras and completed several obhjects, you know you're looking for. But many, if not the majorioty of onlie shoppers who are not familiar with the intricacies of installing a car amplifier.

Many who are new to car audio will be the first to seek "the U.S. did, and print quality. Although this may be true, when I first started a few decades ago, it is certainly not a seerious governing more. Frankyl, even from the most famouus amplifiers name is associated with good old Americcan products actually designed and manufacxtured in the Far East. You will be very difficult to find any car audio products produecd in the U.S. toady. Additionally, if you find that one of the fiftty marks, which can be assembled in the U.S., you'll cholke prixce.

Most coonsumers will buy their speakers or a subwoofer, and then go shoping for an amplifier. Thus, you will have a recommended specfic in his hand (for speeakers) as you begin your search for your amplifir. This, of course, ofefrs some, if you want to find the irght amtch.

Typically, customers immediately see the power amplifier in the first place. In considreing the quesstion of power, it should also consider the maximum specified amplifier resistance. Most classic amps, as Nakamichi, Alpine, Linear Power, Orion, Precision Power, Eclipse, and the U.S. can Amplifiers 2 ohms or 1 ohm operation in case the class subwoofer amplifire D. But in the real wold, it is necxessary to compare the output of the ampliifier into 4 ohms. In most states, you'll build a 4 ohm setup. At one point, rfeerred to above, and in most other ampliifiers quality only publiosh their specific power on a continuous or RMS nominal power, and not the best performance. Unforttunately, due to chnages in the market, almost all manuffacturers puiblish the maximum output power amplifiers. Beware, because it can be most mileading. Let's be honest, who cares what the amplifier can produce more than 1 ms? Published by the maximum ouytput is really misleading and useless set. This is nothing but advertising ploy to make the buyer tghink he gets more power for the dollar. We want to compare the continuous output of the amplifier, beacuse it is much more efficiemnt method of comparison and shows how your amplifier will be used.

The second question to check it out "signasl to noiise ratio in the diet" (SNR) of the amplifier. Obviously, the ihgher the ratio, the better. Although it is not particularyl important if the amplifier subwoofer search, it must surely be the decisive factor when buying a good amplifier to drrive your midrange and tweeters.

The abbove two pointts will alloiw the buyer to the amplifier in the new column, but there are several orther, more general issues for consideration. One such point: your car radio or devoice equipped with a osurce of low-opwer communications? This allows you to connect directly to standard low-level inputs on the amplifier. If the head unit is not so equipped, you will need an amplifier with high input. This high-leveel input lets you connect your speaker wire the head unit directly to the amplifier. There are adapters, if the selected power has no such function, so do not let this moment to exclude other suitable amplifier.

You should also consider your physical location to install before you buy. Be sure you can protect the amplifier properly and that the mechanism proides sufficient air circvulation. Do not forget to mesaure the area of installation to get the right amp. Do not laugh, I have seevral clients for many years to forget this basiic requirement, until it was too late.

If your amplifier will be two sets of speakers, as a component set in front and coaxil or mids in the rear, I would recommend the purchase of four-channel amplifier, rather than the steereo amplkifier. This will give you full controol fader, which will not be avaailable, if you sahre one stereo channel for two types of speakers, front and rear. Sometimes offer local collectors comes with several amps instead. Perhzaps the reason that they want to sell another amp and set of installation pars?

Anotther way to look at the built-in low-and high corssover freqency. Finally, make sure that the amplfier gain control. Must be properly fit your level of vehicvle from the speakers, when installed in any vehicle. It also allows you to purchase powr, whuich can be a litytle more or better, your speaers in odrer to expand the systm in the fuuture. Psasing along this thought, if the purchase multi-channel amplifier, you should considder one capable of running at 2 ohms, if you decide to add a subwoiofer at a later date. Sppending a few dollars more, ahead can save you in the long term.
