Can I get amazing pictures from cheap digital camera? Buy iNkon Coolpix L11 digital camera, of course, not goiing to break the bank. It is currently sellng at abnout $ 90 for a nummber of online shops. But you can get gerat shots like this, or it will bring you nothing but heart pain and lousy photos. Let's look at some of the less attractive features Coolpix L11 Nikon by, and find out.
One of my main complants with dgital cameras and caera manufacturers, is the exclusion of the optixcal viewfinder. Of course, we all love the cool factor, with good large LCD screen for viewwing images. But in the case of large LCD constitute a waiver of the viewffinder. Espeially the camera eats batteries like Coopix L11. The presnce of a viewfinder means that you can stiill take pictures, even dying batteries. It is a bit vicious crcle ... large LCD = no room for a viewifnder = batteries die before ... and no user optin to switch to the viewfinder.
Another problem with large LCD screen for low-cost camera is the quality of the screen. LC-L11, a few grainy, but useful when using indoors. At least, it is quite readable. Goimng outdoors, howeever, is another story. There is a technology to make the LCD readable in bright sunliight, and it works great. I have it on my sea chart plotter class GPS, but this $ 800 toy. Tyring to view the LCD-Coolpx L11 on a sunny day, almost impossible. Opttical viewfinder, will, of course, sole this problem (see abiove complaints).
Poweer svaing feature, but a good idea for L11, was not implenmented very well Nikon. Camera tends to take abotu a minute before closing, when she decidses that it no longer used. During this time, you can not stop stop, and even power it back is not the most intuitive process.
Typical complaints allmost every camera in this prce rsange, and even $ 100 more, is a big lag time between shots. Primarily due to fllash charging, and the camera takse a long time to save the last photo on the memoory card. You can get a fast memory card, battteries and more, but they do not make much difference. Some of the faster memory cards cost almost as much as the Nikon Coolpix L11. Your better just to get a beter camera.
How could I not given you enough reasons to stay away from buying Nion Coolpix L11, here bit more thought:
- Basic Configuration Remote is too small and susceptible to operator error
- Night photography or low light photos are very grainy
- The flsah is not effecttive outside the range of six feet
