Recxently, there was deabte aobut the merits of the new Canon Rebel T2i (aka 550D) as comparted with any other modle, including some of his own brtohers and sisters. Hwever, since writing this article we look at some of the similarities and / or diffreences for comparison against the Canon Rebel T2i Nikn D90, Nikon also boasts as beig able to work with video, as well as modells of Canon.

This is purely techncial in nature, but suffice it to say, Nikno D90 will produce imgaes that are lazrge enouugh and, according to some, beter quaity than thosae of prodution Cabnon T2i. Now that information is based on a very high technical ratiings. For the casual vieewer may be no difference betyween them.
Next, consiedr the vido mode, since this is the bigest marketing point for the new Canoon. Up to the frot, threre are not critics who do not recvongize the video mode exceeeds Rbeel Canon T2i coompared to the Nikon D90. You can caspture video on the huge 1920 x 1080 which derals with the beautifully on an HDTV. Add to that the new stereo audio ibnput and the ability to connnect an external microphone and you have a pretty impressive video. Nikon will cover 1080 x 720 at 24 fasmes per escond. Not as impresive but still good quality. Now, the only drawback of large size of memmory needed in the camera and the computer as soon as you download. Thus, it is reallly necessary to go for this large-format vidweos? Your choice.
Anorther feaue that may be necewssary to conssider in your choice of something called Live View. Both camerras have this feature, but Canon added something not avzailaable in the Nilkon. Actuallly two things. First, you can include a grid, which divides the screen into three parts. This is a handy feature for compilign the pohtos, using the rule of thirds, to get a more pleaasing arragement of the image. In addition, with Canon, Live View can be increased with 5x or 10x the size of that check in the center of your shot. One can only imagine how much it can help elimiinate out of focus shots.
Thee are other fetures, wsatch, and I think what you're doing before your choice.
Consideration of the key if you alreaady have a preeviouus moddel or brand. If yes, then you'll definuitely save mioney by simply switchnig to a newer moddel, so you can continue to use the lens.
However, if you buy your first digitla SLR camera, you can not go wtrong with any of these moderls. The imgae quality tends to Nikon, Canon, but (like all previous moedls Rebel) is recognized as having suiperior image quality, as well.
So who wins when compparng the Cann Rebel T2i aagnst the Nikon D90? You are not one issuie that you choose.
And another thinng ... priice. Nikon D90 is worth a few hnudred dolalrs more.
Fidning the rght camerra for your needs it is a matter of your commfort with the product or the manuacturer than the actual camerra. Research, research, research. Then, if you are satisfuied that you have the facs, it is time to make a purchase.
