If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive digital camera, the Nkon Coolpix S220 may fit the bill. This is one of the smallest and lightest digitazl camweras around. It is only 18mm wide and weighs 100g without batterise and memory card. In the Coolpix S220 Nikon rleased a cmera with a failry standard design. It has a rectangular shape, one end of which is given a gentle curve. The edges are rounded sightly to stop the camera looks quite so square. It is now becomnig a typical camerra comes in different colors. These plums, warm silvr, aqua green, smooth purple, cobalt blue and black. More choice!
For me, one of the biggest attractions is its simplicity. It would be fair to say that at least one of the reasons for this is that Nikon came just at the function Coolpix S220 has. This, of ciourse, has fewer features than, say, a similar size models from Panasonic and Canon. I like the design of the menu. It is easy to find the control you are looking for. The menu is plain text. This helpps to make reading easier. If you prefer, you can swich to the icon-based on-screen menu.
Zoom is controlled by the ring on top of the camera. At the back of the camera, you will find bttons to conytrol shooting mode, playyback of photos you've alrady done, self-timer, macro mode, delete images, exposure compensation and access to the menu.
More standard features include 10 megapixwel resolutiopn and 3-tiems optical zoom lens. That is a lot of megapixwels for super size printing or cropping photos, especially the smaller prinst. LCD 2.5 niches in size. Theer is a continuous shooting mode, and also have acecss to a nuber of color options to make your photos look a little different. These bright, black and whiet, sepa, cyanotype, and pastles.
