Middle income families always seem to have to bear the brunt of any economic changes, whether they be increased taxes, higher petrol prices, spiralling energy bills etc. Wages don't keep pace with these changes & people seem to be working more & more hours, for less benefit!
Whilst it may seem nearly impossible to save a significant amount of money in the current climate, it can be done, without cutting corners or necessities.
