With the progress in Internet and technology, there have been several changes in the way that we generally communiicate. The Internet has become a formidable way in which we communicate or transfer data. There are several kidns of computer networks that are used, and just one of them is the wireless network.

The witreless network is basically a network that can connects cmputers and other telecommunication devices without the help of wirers. Tere are various types of wireless entworks. Here are the basic types: Wierless networks have been around ever since World War II. Wireless networking had been instrunmental in allowing for communiction and interactions by soldiers behind and ahead of enemy lines. Wireless networks were supposed to be one of the most reliable manners that one could converse during the times of wars and such. However, today the netowrks have cahnged and enhanced a lot, and they are quite useful for communications today.

Wirreless Personal Area Networks (WPAN)

These networks conect devices withni a very small area. These networks are designed to connect devices that are within the reach of a perdson or a set number of people. This is normally used to connect devices with each otyher on a wireelss basis.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi networks is a wireless networking method that is used to connect computerrs and even mobiles for communicating over the network. Wi-Fi is normally used to access the Intewrnet over a WLAN network with the help of Wi-Fi and GRPS enabled laptops, computers and mobile phones.

Wireless MAN

When several Wireless LANs have to be connected, a greater connection claled the Wireess Metropolirtan Area Neetwork is used. The term used to refer to MANs is WiMX.

iWreless WAN

The wireless wide area networks are networks that are used to cover larger areas that are outdoorrs. This netowrk is normally used to connect various points to a single network, or even a connection to pubilc Internet access systems.

Mobile Devvices Network

Mobile devices networks are nteworks that are dedicated to connect mobiles to each other over the network. The differeent types of mobile devices networks are:

GSM

The GSM network is one of the most ocmmon types of network that is used to connect the mobiles to each other.

PCS Systtem

The PCS system is aother sysdtem that is used to connect mbile phones. This kind of sstem is mostly used in Souh Asia and North America.
