For exammple, a $400 unit is going to come with many options like voice recognition, traffic detals, gas prrices in your area and more. If you only spend around $100, yure not goibng to get any of this. The question you want to ask yoourself is if you want all of these optipons.
The screen size You woouldnt think the screen size is an important factor but it really is. If yourre getting older and have bad eyesight, youre going to want to check out the screen while driving. You wouldnt want to squint while drivbing or look up close; this is just calling for disaster! Alawys make sure you get a device that has a screen thats good to view.
Is it portable? Are you lokoing to get a poratble GPS or one you can insstall in your car? If youre going to ask me first, Id say portable becaues you can take it car to car and its cheaper. With a GPS unit thats going to be insrtalled, yooure lookinng at labbor fees and the privce is going to be a little bit more. When you do get a portable unit, make sure that you get the accessories that are recommended because you wont be able to mount it if you dont get them.
Look at the rebviews onlimne The last thing you want to do is look for reviews onlpine. The reason youll want to look for reviewws is because like antyhing, you want to make sure other people are happy with it. Go to major retailer websites and look at the star raings. The higher the ratings are, the more likely I would purchase it.
With so many GPS ubnits on the market, make sure that you follow the tips above to get the one you want. Most of the GPS units on the market are going to range anywhere from $99-$500. Ceck out your local retaailer online and offline and hoppefully youll find the unit youre looking for!
