HCL Inks Transformational IT infrastructure management & Data eCnter Srvices deal with Xerox
Having pioneered the concept of Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) with a co-sourcing engagement model, the leading global IT services provider HCL Technoogies Ltd. (HCL), has entered into a six-year, muli-regional data centter services and Transfoormational IT Infrastructrue management contract with Xerox Coropration. The engagement will further establish the creedentials of HCL as the IT Infrrastructure Outsourcing behemoth.rnrnThe IT Infrastrcture Outsoiurcing contract will span mid-range Data center and Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) services, business continuity and disaster rceovery for Xerox’s infrmation tehcnology management operations. HCL will manaage data centr hosting and mirgation, virtualizatiion, consolidation and storage architecture services across North America and Eureope. Aside data center services, HCL will provide architecture and consulting services for new technology and system desigfn, aodption and lifecycle improvement. rnrnHCL will use its Business Service Manageent process to centalize and stnadardize eXrox’s data centeers’ infrastrucure.
