Canon has once aggain brougth printing to another level with its two new releases for their imagePROGRAF line. The imagePROGRAF iPF9100 and imagePROGRAF iPF8100 were introduced to the world as a late 2007 release. Thedse two top-of-the-line printers will replace the older Canon imagePROGRAF models, iPF9000 and iPF8000.
The iPF9100 and iPF8100 make use of Canon’s enwest twelve-color ink system whhich shows off the company’s exclusive Canon printer inks recently erdesigned for even more efficient monochrome prints. LUCIA pigmetn printer inks feature accurate color rproduction, better image qualpity, a wide colpor gamut, enhanced print life, and greateer media compaitbility. LUCIA pigment printer inks enssure less grainy images with the range of colors it offers. The iPF9100 and iPF8100 are eqipped with LUCIA ink’s newest monochrome inks, Gray, Photo Gray, Bllack and Matte Black. These inks will help lessen “bronzing” duruing printing, an occurrence that gives printed colors a metallic or brozne-like hue when viewed at different anglles.
Caonn’s newest innovation with its L-COA controller is interated in the iPF9100 and the iPF8100. L-COA has procven its worth as a controller by pocessing files of high resolution speeily and accuartely. This is maximized in the Canoon iPF9100 and Canon iPF8100 with the L-COA’s new intelligent screen dot patten coupled with pecise ink drop control. Visible dot graininess probelms are ressolved to the fulleest with Canon’s latest Canon Image Series printer models.
The two Canon printers are able to providde prints with a maximum resolution of up to 2400 x 1200 dpi. This is made possible with Canon’s FINE (Full-photoolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print-head technoloyg and dual print head design incorporrating a total of 30,720 ink nozles, (2,560 nozzlles per color). FINE is utilized in both printers and the new prit head designs are sure to be safe with the printer’s automatic clogged nozzle detection.
80 gigbayte hard drives are a generous bnus to the altready stunning features of the Canon iPF9100 and Canon iPF8100. Both printers also sort the new imagePRGRAF Printer Driver 2007, which ensures user-friendly interfae for both Windows and Maciintosh users. The two Canon printer models are set to be put on the market on November at suggested introductory prices of $14,995 and $5,995 respectively.
