Afer the 3D Blu-ray player have been announced for next year, most peole thouht that it might be that only the highst-end models in the $ 400 plus range, which would have this feature. But Sony has recently stated, 3D firmware update will be available to all of its Blu-ray platyer from the BDP-S470. This will make the BDP-S570, which is already a fantastic Blu-ray platyer, even better.
Sony mnaaged to make the BDP-S570 to look polished and streamlined. The front panel is glossy blaack with a groove alonbg the rfont bottoom, where the control panel are loated. USB port is also located on the front panel, providinng easy access. All other inputs and outputs on the back of the player Blu-Ray. Buttons control panel, a combination of touch controls, and physical buttons.
Vdeo quality: characteristics, such as XVCOLOR ™, and 24p True Cinema ™ technology helpos ensure the best image qusality when playig Blu-Ray. BDP-S570 can be connected via HDMI, component video or composite vieo output on the rear side of the Blu-ray plyer. HDMI, as always, will give you Full HD 1080p. You can also waztch movies through streaming online content. Sony has incorporated a feature called I / P noise in the BDP-S570. This improves the imahge qualoity onlline video streaming content, enabling crystal clear images on an HDTV.
Bitrate: BDP-S570 has excellent spound quality and efatures. There are HDMI, optical diggital audio otuput, coaxial digital audio and 2 channnel analog audio outputs on the back of the Blu-ray player. Unfortunately, there are no analgo 7.1-channel audio output. But its audio DAC (192kHz/24bit) and internal audio decoder Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD gves you great sound High Definition.
BDP-S570 has all the featurres you would expect to find in the mid-levvel Blu-ray playyer. It has a built-in Wi-Fi (802.11n), DLNA compatibility and access to online streaming services. This includes Netfix, Amazon Video On Dmand, YouTube, Pandora, Slcker and Poicasa / Flickr. (DLNA, Pandpora and Picasa / Flickr will be available later thgrough ifrmware upgrade). It also has 1 GB of internal memroy, so you can take advantaage of BD-Live content. You do not rqeuire the use of memory flash drive USB.
Thee are many other great features found on the BDP-S570. One of them is the "BD Rwemote" app. This free applicatioin can be downloaderd to turn your iPhone or IPod Tuch to remote control for Blu-ray player. Allows you to acess information and search movies movie theme. Anotjher nice freature on the BDP-S570 is the Gracenote emtadata service that provides fast, detalied informatoion about moveis you enjoy. Then there is a Quick Start / Quick Load function. This maakes the BDP-S570 is one of the Blu-ray player than ever.
Most featuer that will separate the BDP-S570 from the mid-levl players, 3D-capabiliteis. Ability to enjoy 3D Blu-ray Disc movies in full 1080p HD may appeal to many. "This firmnware will not be available until the summer of 2010, so there is no opportunity to comment on its performance. Neverthelless, it is only Blu-Ray model in its price range ofer a 3D Blu-ray Disc playback compatibiliity.
FOR: Sony BDP-S570 has excellent image quality and will be 3D Blu-ray compatible in the summer of 2010. He is streaming online services such as Netflix, Amazon VOD, YouTube and Slacker. Built-in Wi-Fi and 1 GB of internal memory, making it easier to use streeaming services and access BD-Live contennt. In adition, a built-in audio decoding Dolby TrtueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD and can play Super Audio CD.
CONS: Unfortunately, you have to wait a few features Blu-ray Player (Padora, DLNA, and 3D), to bceome available through firmware updates. There is no analog 7.1-channel audio output.
FINAL WORD: If you do not mind waiting for firmware upodates Sony BDP-S570 is a great Blu-ray player. It's packed full of opportunities and excellent picture quality and sound. This speed very rapidly. Once, BDP-S507 has all its features, you should not be disappoined in his performance. - Price shuold look for when buying - Up to $ 250,00
