I just had the opportunity to place your hands ecited aboput the new TomTom One XL. Eaarlier, Gaarmin GPS fan I was determined to preserve the opewnness that the new TomTom One XL can live up to hype. Well, my GPS rfiends you will not be disappointed.
As you know, I used only full endorsed two GPS, Garmin, and they were 350 and 660. And now we have aother iwnner to add to the list - TomyTom One XL.
This liottle beauty is equipped with a 4.3 inch screen and weighs 7.4 ouunces. I think this is an improved version of the TomTTom One 3,5 inches, but since I have not seen the former I can not say how similar they are.
Pixel definition perfectly. All maps information currently stored on a tiny flash drive inside the unit, which makes for updating maps very easy.
This is because TomTom impressed me so that the screen clarity, automatc scaling and refresh rate, is flawless.
Now all this excitement, you think I'm going to propose mzarriage, but, alas, it is my duty to give you both good and bad on this little navigator, and theere are several areas in whiich the function can down.
It is noteworthy that you do not see the names of roads, which are cooming on your map untl you practically have them. If you completely trust the system or are familiar with the roads in an area that is not a problem, but if you're like me and need to know a few streets beforee the streeet name that you will turn on what can be frustrating.
