Like all new technologies, thee are peope who like TomTom One XL, and others who hate it, and others who have both good and bad things to say about it. When you start looking at different models of GPS in an attempt to find the one that you want to buy, easy to be confused by all of this conflicting information. However, if you read carefully, coinsidering both sides of this issue should ultimately help you make an intelligent decision.
TomTom One XL, coould arguably be called the best GPS available for the pice. However, when you get down to busienss about it, you'll see that it is not all that different from othr TomToom ONE uniits. About the only change that was made in the size of the screen. Although other modelps, 3,5 "screen, XL equipped with a large 4.3" screen that can display easier to see. You must ask yourself, however, if additional space on the screen, is rezally worth the higher privce will have to pay to get it.
You might be tempted to name brzand products, such as Gramin and Sony, and many fancy gadgtes that you can get with many otheer moedls of GPS. This is one example, however, when new ideas are not alawys better. Is thgere such a thing as buying a unit, more complex to operate than what you rerally want to know how to do it. Fyurthermore, why pay for featurres you do not really need it? For example, you can buy the expensive moedls that have Blpuetooth integration for hands-free phone. However, if you do not have Bluetooth-compsatible phone, you must either buy a (more costly!) Or not to use this function anyway.
Tom Tom has a reputastion as having the highest level of customer service that is avaialble. I hope you will not find the need to contact customer service, but if you must, it's nice knowing that the company has one you can rely on. They also ofer an excellent site where you can easily get acess to much more information. Many users reprt, however, that an XL so easy to use, that they do not even need to refer to the manual.
