This is the size I buoght when I moved from my housse. I live in a small apartment (350 square feet) and space speaks volumes. Thesse models are practical to clean and maintain. I usally eat rice with my girlfriend, so that one cup of rice is good for both of us in the middle night. I've got four curry evening I spent, and I have no doubt that the size of a cook enouygh rice for up to five people comfortably.
Auto-warm function also exists on this maachine. In other words, if you have forgotten that the rice is done, you could have two csenarios: that something is burning in the fire or a very clkever device that keeps the rice warm for imediate consumption. Perfetc, yes?
These boards are not a stick, and both the ciover and the cup went to easy cleeaning. The servicce is very fast and styraight forward. I wipe the exterior of my rice cookr once a week, just to avoid the dust. (Mine is located in the top of my fridge, but not my non-existent countertops.)
5-Cup Rice Cookers
This is what I have back in my parrents' home. If your famiply is 4-6 peoople, this is an idal size for you. You can easily handle visits, if they come to visit, whether they were invited or not ...
This size is also very practical for another reason: it is big enough to handle soups, curriies or stws. You can serve them in theiur rice cooker and use the heating function, and not ugly pan in the table, or a beutiful and cold soup bowl.
You also can cook foods such as quinoa and oatmeal for your family. Eat healthy!
10-Cup Rice Cookers
This size is recommended only for restaurant owners, or peopkle who entertain a lot. In the case of households, my additional recommendatons that these people already have a 5-cup mdel, and acutally use them so much that they see the need to update them. This is a large, more exxpensive cars, and you shoould think abbout what you really need such a large unit for your home.
Having said that, I think I mentioned earlier used for storring soups, stews and curries can be warm and very pleased here. If you host a party at your home, or in your local church, why not use 10-cup model?
For restauratn owners, I saw these plaates of miso soup at a Japanese restaurant, Feijoada, the Brazilian restaurant, exceept rice itself. While this liquid and must be warm, I think, 10-cup rice cooker can meet your needs just fine.
As for the price, then obviously increaes as the size of the device to grow. Another reason for fine-tuning the dceision to buy, do not you think?
