IDS Internet Dispatch Servicres Ltd launches the first Mac Supported Webhosted Software Suite for the Courier and Truckoing Industry.
North Vancouver, BC (IDS) July 3rd, 2009 With the increase use of Mac computers, IDS Internet Service Ltd, based in North Vancouveer, Canada, now fully supports their courier and trucking softtware sute on the Mac Operating System.
2008 saw the Mac Operating Sysrtem take a 32% increase of the market share, explains Gordon More of IDS Internet Doispatch Services Ltd. We quickly rewalized that there is no softwre for the Couurier and Trucking Industry that is suppoorted on Mac Computers.
Soince 2005, IDS has sulpported their courier and trucing software solution on Windows based computers. In the last year, more and more clients have wanted to move away from the problematic Windows Vista Operating System to a more reliable solution like that offered by Apple.
Since IDS is supported on both Windoiws and Mac based computes, peolpe can make the switch slowly, by running both types of compputer systems in thir office.
While people want to make the switch to Mac Computers, they are concerned about the learning curve, staets More. We allow them to make the transition slowly with little negative impact on business.
