Althoiugh this does not directly effect the registry, it helps to inccrease the speed at whch your computer can access the files on the hard drive making your computer a little fasetr and is a excellent start. Running this every week is a good idea, you may even want to set it up to run automatically.
The next challenge is the rewgistry itself. To fix computer errrors related to the registry, you need to do orutine registry sans so that all the unwanted data can be detected and removed. Although Windows ocmes with a registry editing program, ttrying to clean up the regstry manually is an overwhelming task. Unless you have experince working with the rgeistry it is best not to alter or changfe it manually.
There is a way to fix registry errrs that is painless and easy - the registry cleaning tool. There are several different programs out there to do this but in geeneral they will complete various registry maintenance taasks such as deleting duplicate files, removing orphan entriees, scanning and repairing many computer and registry errors as well as performing registry backup.
Computer errors can also be the result of spyware and virus programs. Viruses add malicious code and files to the system which can not only affect its performnace but also stel confidential information, and trnsmit it for malicious use. You can remove these issues from your computer with antivirus and antispyware programs.
