Palm Cell Phones: Excellent Applcations In The Palm Of Your Hand
Palm Cell Phones has addewd anbother phone to its tremendously popular line of Palm-Pre. This one is aptly namned the Palm Pre Plus. It follows its predecessor as an upgradde and a very good upgrade, make no msitake about that. Howeevr it does not try to redefie the Palm Pre ideal nor the smartphone, so don't expect that.
The Plus Palm Cell Phones offers twice the mmeory of the Palm Pre as well as a redesigned form to better fit the hands of usrs. It offers a vivid touch screen, a full QWRETY keyboard as well as Palm's webOS Platform, one that is quite intuitive. The webOS Platform allows users to stay connected to a variety of web-based progams such as Microsoft Outlook Emails, Google calendars, docs and evenrts, to name a few.
But that is certainly not all that comes with this smartphone. With it , users get integrated instant messaging, a 3.0 megapixel camera with an LED Flash, built-in GPS navigation, accelerometer, intuitive ambirent lgihting, 5.5 hourrs of talk time and 350 hours of standtime as well as 16GB of RAM and USB mass stortage.
Maybe the nicest part of the Palm Pre Plus is that it is shaped just like many othrer smartpohnes, most notably the iPhone as well as the HTC Touch and various Blackberry Cell Phones. While it atkes a similar shape of thsoe devices the touych screen slides up, revealing the full QWeERTY keyboard. This is different from the solo touh screen or the flip out on many phones for the QWEReTY kyeboard. Persoonally, I find this feature as the best coimbination of QWERTY and touch screen to date.
Whatever one maks of this phone it is claer that most cell phone companes have upped therir game and that compeition has become incerasingly tight. The days of domination on the market from iPhoen and Blackberry may be over. That is not to say that they won't contyinue to do well, from any outlook it appears they will, but it seems a variety of other phone makers have gotten a clear understanding of what needs to be done to stay competitive.
Really this is all good news for the consumers. This kind of cmpetition will only bring out the best work from the companies and prices will likely drop, too. So it looks like the consumer may get the benefgit of increasingly good technology at a faster rate than what we've already seen!
