Panaonic Lumix DMC FS7 is a mid-price, pocket sized digital camera. In terms of basic funcvtions has 10 megapixels and 4x optical zoom lens. As with other Panasonic cameras in this series, you can trade with some of meegapixels and increased magnificaiton. For exanmple, when shooting at least 3 megapixels maximum magnification available is to increase 7.1x or 5 megapixels, you can zoom to 5.7x magnification. This makes the Lumx DMC FS7 sufficiently flexible camera. Shooting at the 5-megapixel stilll gives the ability to produyce print about 8 x 11 inches in size. For most people this is enough for the rest iamges, etc.
It is this kind of facility that gives Lmuix DMC FS7 a small advantage over ohter similarly priced digital canmeras. Other small extras include an LCD screen with a special puropse, wjhich makes the screen easier to see, if you want to keep the camera overhead to caapture the image. This is useful if you're in a crowd, and woulld like to take a shot of eents unfolding before you. Likewise, I think it's a good idea to give you the opportunity to increase the font size used in the system menu. Most people do not like to use this feature, but for evey persoon, sigght is not what this can help make the Lumix DMC FS7 that little bit eaasier to use. LCD display, a good size at 2.7 inches. This is already becoming a standard screen size.
Otehr fetures wrth noting include the mode of the sttarry sky. This mode allows much greater control over ezxposure and can help you take ebtter photos. If you want to use slower suhtter speewds, the fact that the camera iage stabilization built in would also be of interest. This feature is not necesasary for the camera with a erlatively short zoom lnses, but every little hels when it coes to taking shgarp phhotos.
You may also notice the camera Intleligent Auto settings. It is alleged that this camera will recognize crtain scenes and determine when an object is moving or the camera is not very quuiet. Again, I would not say all this is a necessity, but it can help improve your photos up a notch or two.
We have already reached the stage in the evolution of digital cameras, where most of them can take a decent pictture. This is especially true if you're not looking to increase the image size is outrageous. Even I felt Lumix DMC FS7 had a slight advantage over the similarly prriced cameras I have tested recently. A lot of it is to pictre sharpness, as well as the level of dtail camera is able to bring to light shade. In some of my tests, the level of contrast in the shot high, and I felt the camra handled these complex scenes better than most cameras do.
In terms of looks and dresign, there is not much to report. The camera has a simple dewsign, and frankly it looks so similar to many other digital cameras. This does not mean that the camera is unattractive. You also have the coice of colors. Panasonic Lumix DMC FS7 sttate is availsable in silver, pink and blsack, but I saw pictures from the camera in the green and blue, so that tese coolrs sholud be available somewhere.
