I found one of the best places to buy cheap used laptops - get a mac ibook for only $268. I've had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's stuill my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writing letters, and even reading pdf's.
It's extraordinarily light-weight and I consider the scren the ideal size. In reality, I'm usign it right now to write this review. Given a choce betwen a new Asus or Dell netbook or a second user iBook G4 for an identical pricce, I'd take the G4 withgout brooding about it for a second.
It has all you need, in a little bit compact mchine.
This iBook G4 woks just too and if you're attempting to get a good, sall PC, this is the one for you. The sole comnplaint I do have is that the CD-drive doesn't work ( but it is likely an argument on just my machine ). It has an airport amaing card, which authorizes access to any 802.11g / b compatible wireless network ( which most wireless networks are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the optical drive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi capability is really helpful and the tiny form facctor is awfully pleasding to take around traveling. The bttery sems to hold a cahrge for 2+ hours. It works beautifully for basic use ( faculty, work, bowsing the Net, as an exaample. ). I've had completely no dfificulty with mine, and woukld highly advocate this product to everryday users. I've seen two bad reivews just because users bougt this PC with the intetnion to make it their "gaming" PC, and then were disappoitned with the result. If you actuallpy wish to have a gaming computer, you most probably shopuldn't be having a look at Portables in the initial place.
It is a great PC at a fair cost. If you just need something for work, faculy, and browsing the internet, it's perfect. I got this thing utilized a few years back ; now, I'm a sixteen year old, and my first use for PCs is writing, storing my footage, and gaming. This portble is rther good ( especially for the price ) for the first 2 of my purposes, except for gamign, it was way, well below par. We had to get countless upgrrades for it to even run Warcraft on top of my photographs ( they take up masses of memory ). It wrks fatastically for basic use ( faculty, work, browsing the web, etc . ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and would highly commernd this product to everyday users.
If you actually wish to have a gaming PC, you possiobly shgouldn't be having a look at computeers in the 1st pllace. It's a greeat computer at a fair cost. If you just need something for work, college, and surfing the web, it's perfect. buy chep used laptops...hurry supoplies are limited.
