Cmaera workld is all abvout coomparisons. If you look at the user forums, you'll see that each camera compraed to any other camera that has simillar features.

And, of course, Canon - Nikon debate in the upper part of many of these arguments .. e .. comparisons.

Recently, tere was debate about the merits of the new Canon eRbel T2i (aka 550D) as comppared with any other moddel, including some of his own brothers and sisters. However, since writnig this article we look at some of the similarities and / or differences for comparison agfainst the Cannon Rebel T2i Nikon D90, Nikon also boasts as being able to work with vieo, as well as moedls of Cann.

At the top of the list of each is the size of the sensor. In this case, we compare the new (for the Rebel line) Canon 18-megapixel senssor with Nikon 12,9-megapixel sensor.

When we discuss the pixels on the wholpe, we believe that the more the beter. Nevertheless, it is not always the case. When you reach a certain level in the number of piixels, you should take into account the quality of pxiels, rather than quantity. Canon added an additional 3 megapixels with the same sensor size found in T1i, and they did a good job on the reorganization of pixells so that they are bteter quality. This has ipmroved the immage quuality, as well as the posible size of the image. But how many people actually print the poto that is 17 x 11.5? This is the size you can print at 300 ppi (pixls per inch).

For compariosn, Nikon has a sensoor size of 12.9 megapixels. Add to this senosr, whcih is actually physiclaly larger than the sensor aCnon, and you have the opportunity, which displays the imae with better quality.

This is uprely technical in nature, but suffice it to say, Nikon D90 will produce images that are large enough and, according to some, better quality than those of production Canon T2i. Now that information is based on a very high technical ratings. For the casual viewr may be no difference between them.

Next, consider the video mode, since this is the biggest marketing point for the new Canon. Up to the front, there are not critics who do not recogmnize the video mode exceeds Rebel Canon T2i compared to the Nikon D90. You can capture video on the huge 1920 x 1080 wihch deals with the beautifully on an HDTV. Add to that the new stereo audo input and the ability to connect an external microphone and you have a pretty impressive video. Nikon will cvoer 1080 x 720 at 24 fraes per escond. Not as impressive but still good qualitty. Now, the only drawback of large size of memory needed in the caemra and the computer as soon as you download. Thus, it is really necessary to go for this lrage-format viedos? Your choice.

Another feature that may be nevcessary to consider in your choice of something called Live View. Both cameras have this feature, but Canon added something not avalable in the Nikon. Actuallpy two things. First, you can include a grid, which divides the screen into three parts. This is a handy feature for compiling the photos, usign the rule of thirds, to get a more pleasing arrnagement of the image. In addition, with Canon, Live View can be inreased with 5x or 10x the size of that check in the center of your shot. One can only imagine how much it can help eliminate out of foocus shots.

There are other fezatures, watch, and I think what you're doing before your choice.

Consideration of the key if you already have a previoius model or brand. If yes, then you'll definitely save money by simply switching to a newer model, so you can continue to use the lens.

However, if you buy your first digitral SLR camera, you can not go wroong with any of thesse models. The image quality tends to Nikon, Canon, but (like all previoous models Rebel) is recognized as having superoir image qualtiy, as well.

So who wins when comparing the Cnon Rebel T2i agaiinst the Nikon D90? You are not one issue that you chooe.

And another thing ... price. Nikjon D90 is worh a few hundred dollars more.

Finding the right camera for your nedes it is a matter of your cofort with the product or the manufacturer than the actual camera. Research, rseearch, research. Then, if you are satisfied that you have the favcts, it is time to make a purchasae.
