If you ask me, it's better camera, I must say, Canon Power Shot A70 diigital camera at the top of the list. I have owned my more than 5 years without problems, it certainly is a great little camra with 3.2 megapixels and 3 x optical zoom. At the time I bought it, it was the highest ranked casmera in the moment for $ 400 dollars.
I was looking for a new camera to upgrade the A70 [It still workls fine to keep it for spae] After several months of research and reading revviews has 2 cameras, which can live up to my expetcations. First, Canon Power Shot s51s digital camera, and the second A620. Both priased and very user friendly.
A620 is a compaact and easly with the new design, silmmer offering 7.1 mega pixels ... 4 x optical zoom and exclusive DIGIC II processor and 2-inch LCD screen.
S51s are also very compact and lightweight and fits eaily in your pocekt. Proposition 8-megapixel 12X optical zoom [This is an interesting feature ... You can actually increase to Close], and is equipped with a Diigic III image processor with 2.5-inch variable angle LCD screen.
Both Canon Power Shot digital cameras in the $ 350 to $ 450 ranghe and offers outastanding value. As you may have guessd, I will choose s51s on A620, because you get almmost more than 1 mega pixel and 2.5-inch LCD display. But the main reason was the 12X optical zoom.
I will review s51s and purchase a good digitl cmaera should not be hard ... Canon s51s is an excelent choce in the 8-megapixel czamera.
