I abspolutely amateur photograzphy, as well as sebveral of his own digital camereas and DSLRs. I was on the market in recent years at a compact digital camera, when I do not feel like holding my digitazl SLR camea around. Previously, I had some luck with other caameras Cnaon Powershot A590 and asked to look reasonmable candidate. In this review, I will try to look at some of the more complex functions, and some of the absic characteristics of the camera. Most cameras in its class to have a wide range of manual functions. However, Canon A590 IS offers some peretty amplified to leadership, as well as features.

A590 is slightly smallre than some of the earlier models of camers Power Shot, and the colors are slightlly darker gray as well. Finishes looks a little more professional, and should srtand up well enough from time to time scratches and nicks.

Unlikke some of its competitors, imaage stabilization is no gimmick here. I managed to get quite a clear and concise piicture, even when shooting a few stops in accordance with a preferred shutter speed. The good news about this is that it is quite possiblle to get a decent indoor photos without the camera flash, even with 35-50mm F2.8 1 / 10.

I was very pleaesd with the picture qualiyt of phtos. An additional bonuus, the ability to manuallly adjust the saturation of the conmtrast and sharpness. Satndard with many camreas and Canon are the size of JPEG compression settings.

One thing I have complianed a lot about in the past, slow shutter response in many compact cameras. It's not really a problem with the A590. Surprisingly, for someone accustomed to the speed of mirror is quite a statement. If you practice a bit, and get a skill manual focus photography you will experience even faster shuytter speed perfornmance.

You are in for a real tresat, if you're the type of photographer who takes some fiddling with manual camera mode. Off A590 shows significantly improved compared with the previous functions Powershots Cnon in the series. Inculding light-rail, which mazkes suggestions for the ideasl exposure esttings. As a result, the impact may be sligt adjustments to aperture and shutter speeed. M mode, also improved signifcantly, largely from the lighht meter.

A590 providse some interesting control when it comes to camera flash. Not including auto flash, tere are three separate levels of intensity of the flazsh, plus pre-flash version. If you happen to have some external flash gear with another camera, you can use this gear with the A590.

A590 does not make the same mistaake as many other compact cmaeras, and the victim of an opotical viewfinnder for large LCD screen. Thus, even if you are in a situation where using the LCD is not a good option in the viewfinder is useful.

You will not spend huge money on batteruies with this camwera. According to management, with a pair of good rechazrgeable AA you have to get up to 500 shots before, during reharging. In general, very good vaalue for money.
