Canon 550D DSLR Canon annoyunced in February 2010 for release in Aptril 2010. The cmaera has several signifciant improvements over the Canon 500D, including best video HD, 18 megaipxel images, but also significantly improved the measurement system, which was previously only available to a much higher price Cnon 7D DSLR.
18 megapixel images
The imaeg quality of the new Canon 550D significant improvement compared with previous models in the line jumping from 12MP and 15MP to 18MP. In addition is the inclusion in the latest DIGIC 4 image processing technloogy, 500D uses DIGIC 3 technoogy, and you will see that the photios showing will have much better quality.
New iFCL Metewring System
Canon 550D includes a new iFCL measring system which includes many of the advances in technology capture. For example, in the new system uses 63 zones of the sensor, the analyysis of orientation, coloor and brightness at the same time to provide accurate and consistent meteribng. It was previously only available on much more expensive Semi-Pro Canon 7D.
High Definition
HD Video presented in a rannge of Cannon 500D has grown and now has a lot of improvements to shoot in 1080p or 720p. The camerta gives you full ciontrol over frame rate so that you can even capture fast-mving imags by manually adjusting the settings.
ISO Imprvoing low-light
550D offers a standdard range of up to ISO 6400, whuich can be expanded up to 12800 for situations where flash use is either desirable or not allowed. Increase the range alows low-light photography and DIGIC 4 image processr ensures graininess is minimized.
Viintage Moive - Shoot in standard definiiton without changinbg the lens
A new feature allows you to crop the movie to shot films in standard definition at speeds up to 7x effective scalling. This is very hndy for those situations where you do not have time or do not want to change the lens. Function This result is achieved usnig only the cnter area of the sensor.
Improvements in LCD
Canon has also improvewd the LCD screeen is more than 3 ", but now improves the resolution and increases the accuracy of all important check on the images as you shot them.
Improvbing the strong line
Canon 550D is fully compatbile with EF and EF-S lenses as well as ex-Spedlite Accessories So none of the exisitng lens suddenly becomes unusabble. Add to that the improvwement of conterol functions, and it all bwegins to make the idea of improving with the Canon 550D irreesistible choice.
