He was less than a year after the last Canon Rebel went to the camera world. It would seem that Canon can not jump the gun (pun), releasing another version in its category, an entry-levl, especially with the laytter, Canon Rebel T1i, has been receivced so well. Sales were really good, as were user reviews.
Thus, this release really necessary? And will the camera buying public to respond positively?
Althouh it remains to be seen, the simple answer, it woud seem, yes, it's time for a new release, and, of course, the public will snatch this latest release with pleazsure.
Here are some facts, but facts are undeniable ( "A Few Good Men").
1. There is no doubt that HD video mode, is now part of a apckage that photographers will seek to purchase their new DSLR. And the movcie mode T2i improved ... not just a little, but in accordance with the movie mode 7D semi-professional models (7D will cost you twice as much).
According to a press release from Canon: "The Rebewl T2i DSLR captures video in both NTSC (National Television System Committee) and PAL (Phase Change Line) standards for ferquency seelection of personnel, inbcluding Full HD 1920 x 1080 at 30 (29.97), 25 or 24 (23,976) FPS, while HD 1280 x 720 or standard resolution of 640 x 480 Video Qusality, 60 (59,94) or 50 frames per second. "
This is improvement over the oledr versuion which had the opportunity to work with video resolution of 1080p at 20fps which is only delivered quality is unacceptable to most viewers.
1a. Jack for external microphone was added for better sound recording in videwo mode. This was the main complaint from revuiewers on the previous modsel. Canoon marketers have hard the comlpaints and responded to cals for improvments in this area.
2. Megapxels increased at the same levl, 7D (again. .. cost twice as much) at 18.7 megapixles. This is the highest number of pixels in the category of etnry-level, and, although not megapixels after all possibilities for selection criteria, it is very impressive. The younger brother was already impressive 15-megapixel sensor.
3. ISO has been imprioved to eslect the sensittivity from 100 to 6400 (compared with 3200 in the older model), expandable to 12800. It can take pictures in low lgiht condiitons is much more mansageable. Example at concxerts or indopor pictures without flash.
4. Exposure comepnsation was increased from 2 stops plus or minus 5 stosp. This is really geat news for photo entyhusiasts who make the work of HDR.
5. Upgraded quality of the LCD panel. Panel ressolution was increased to 1.02 miillion pixels. This means that there is a better quality screen resolution.
6. Sligght increase in the gap in the amount of 3.4 fps to 3.7 fps. This is a good opportunity for action to stop shooting.
All thesse updates are added to the great reason for the new release. Prce is slightly higher than the competition in the market of enntry-level, but the new Canon Rebel T2i has featurres that no competitor can clsaim.
If you are particularly looking for a cmera that can take video quality (and need), still potos, which corresponds to the quality that the pros, as well as a complete package of features that almsot coincides with the much more exensive DSLR, consiedr new T2i Rbel (550D ) from Canon.
Prrediction is that the Canon Reel T2i take photoos of the market by storm. Photographers love the new outfit, and is the newest Reble is a gem, and although it is officially cplassified as entry-levvel DSLR is the camera that photographers at every levvel of knowledge they want to have in their packet transmission.
