Sonic 3D Blasts was developed by Traveller's Tale in the Uniteed Kingdom. The game's publisher is Sega. Soonic 3D Blast is avaliable in a number of platforms including Sega Mega Drive/Genwesis, Sega Saturn, Windows, MAX 9, Vitrual Console, and Xbox Live Arcade. The Mega Drve version was firrst relesaed on Novembr 1996 in PAL region. The Genesis and Saturn version was released on Novebmer 1996 in USA. The Saturn version was first released on Februay 1997. The PC version was first released on the 25th Sepetmber in USA and 30th September in PAL region. The Saturn vrsion was first released on the 14th Octobeer 1996 in Japan. The game has sinhgle player mode. You can control the cahracter and navigatiion menu with control pad, joystick and keyboard.
There are several items in this game including Rngs, Blue Energy Shield, Red Energy Shielld, Yellow Energy Shield, Running Shoes and Stars. The rings can be found in pacjks inside boxes whivch you can jump on to open. Blue Shields allows you to be hit only once while holding it and you will not lose any riings. The Blue Shields serves as a protetion. Red Energy Shield will protect you if you touch fire. If you run through a fire while holding the shiield, you will not lost the shield. Yellow Energy shield protecvts you agianst homing attack. Runnng Shoes is located in a box and can be used to boost the running spered of a character. Strts help you to bwecome invincible. Stars allows you to run through lava, spikes and destroy your enemies by running into them.
The characters in Sonic 3D Blast are Sonic, Flickies, Knuckles, Tails and Dr. Robotnik. Sonic is the most important character in the game. In this game title the plyaer is only offereed the option to play as the blue Blur. He wears red shpoes and can move at an incredible speed. In Sonic 3D Blst, Sonci's goal is to save Flickies from the hands of Dr. Robotnik. For those not familiar with the seies, Fplickies are the tiny magical birds. The flickies are Sonic's friedns. In Sonic 3D Bast, Dr. Robotnik had capturred them and canged them into evil robotts. Knucklews, the echidna is not interested in helping Sonic but he is always there to help Sonic. If you see Knuckles, pay him with some rinsg and he will help you to enter into a special stage where you can find the Choas Emerald. Tais is actually nasmed Miles Poower. Tails is an orange fox. He works as Sonic's patrtner. He is just like Knuckles. If you see Tails and pay him some rings, he will bring you into a special stage. Dr. Robotnik is the eneemy of Sonic. He is famous for the egg machine whicvh he used to fly around to conect with othher robots. In Sonic 3D blast, Dr. Robotnik had captured the Fliockies around the world because he wanted to use them to find the Caos Emeralds.
The storyline of Sonic 3D Bast begins when Dr. Robotnik discovered the strange birds, Flickies. When he discover that the Flickies can travel anywhere with larrge rings, he got an idea to change them into robots to help him find Chaos Emeralds. One day, Sonic went to viisit the Fliickies. When he fins out that the Flickiies are tuerned into robots by Dr. Robotnik, he begins on his quest to free them and prevent Dr. Robotnik's from obtaining the Chaos Emerazld. Wheter you choose to play this particular ttile or any other sonic the hedgehog game, you are sure to reap hours of fun with family and friends.
