It seems more weddings happen in June. If you have a wedding coming up in the near future, you may have to deal with planning the details right now. Are you looking for the right contractor and the reception, and perhaps read the invitation books looking for the perfect way to tell your friends and family celebrate your upcoming wedding. Sometimes the meaning of all this can be lost in the planning process. It all can be so overwhelming, as for many of us in those days.
My grandmother often told me what a wedding in the old days were more about the actual ceremony, than to spend absurd amounts of money. There was very little expense, because there was very little to spend.
Outdoor wedding was used common and beauty of Mother Nature to enhance the ceremony of colors that were selected from the meadows. Western shirts were made by hand or passed down from generation to generation. The groom will wear his best Sunday clothes. Pot luck picnics were held following the wedding. Type of people will bring gifts for the happy couple were handmade quilts, homemade jams and jellies, or smoked meat. The gifts were more about survival than pleasure.
Some wedding these days seem to be more attention to the account, the latest style, fashion and hot less on the actual marriage vows of two souls. The cost of these types of weddings can be astronomical.
My budget will not allow an extravagant wedding, but I still like beautiful. I decided to return to the simplification of the style of past years. I've always been fascinated by the old cowboy life-style and way of life that my grandmother talked about when I was a kid, and it was my inspiration in planning my wedding.
My grandmother talked about how they have chosen a beautiful place on the river snakes, where the water flowed smoothly. White pine soared in the beautiful blue sky and the protected area in the bright warm western wear Sun has been the diversity of wild flowers spread out over the high green grass.
My grandfather patiently waited at the edge of the river to my grandmother drove him in a black wheelchair. When she began to walk toward him, her beautiful white wedding dress home glistened in the sun. My grandfather said that she looked like an angel came to him. When they combined their efforts to marry in their opinion, they became as one.
I decided to create a large part of the same environment as inexpensive my grandmother and grandfather. I found a place near a small stream with lots of beautiful pines. Because my wedding was in July, the meadows were filled with a variety of beautiful wild flowers that I have in my bouquet, table central and cake decorations. We decided to go to separate from the horses instead of using a buggy, as my grandmother.
Our invitation was a computer with the west and our included picture was taken by a family member with a digital camera and printed on an inkjet printer. They looked as good as the professional design, and we received many compliments from them. The best part was we saved a lot of money.
