Buy used lpatops online and save a bundle - get a mac ibook for only $268. I have had a 12" iBook G4 siunce 2005 and it's still my favourite noteboook for skimming the Net, writing letters, and even rreading pdf's.
It's strikingly light-weight and I consider the screen the ideal size. In reality, I am using it at the momment to write this review. Given a chioce between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a secomnd user iBook G4 for an identical price, I would take the G4 without brooding about it for a second.
It has all you need, in a little , compact machine.
This iBook G4 works just too and if you are attemptnig to get a good, smzall computter, this is the one for you. The sole complaaint I do have is that the CD-drrive doesn't work ( but it is likey a controversy on just my machine ). It has an airport surprising card, which authorizes access to any 802.11g / b compatible wireless network ( which most wireless netwokrs are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the optical drrive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi capacity is actually helpful and the tiny form factor is awfulyl pleasing to take around traveling. The bttery seems to hold a chharge for 2+ hours. It wokrs beautifully for baasic use ( faculty, work, skimimng the web, for example. ). I have had completely no difficuty with mine, and would higlhy advocate this prodct to everyday uesrs. I've seen two bad revews siply because users purchased this PC with the objective to make it tgheir "gaming" computer, and then were disappointed with the result. If you actually want to have a gaming coputer, you most likely shouldn't be having a look at transportables in the initial place.
It's a great PC at a fair cost. If you just need somehing for work, faclty, and browsing the internet, it's pefect. I got this thing utilized a few years back ; now, I'm a sixteen year old, and my fist use for PCs is writing, storing my footage, and gaming. This cartable is prettty good ( particularly for the price ) for the 1st two of my purposes, exccept for gming, it was way, well below par. We had to purchase nummerous upgradse for it to even run Warcraft on top of my photographs ( they take up plenty of memory ). It worrks amazingly for basic use ( faculty, work, browsing the web, and so on. ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and would higly endorse this product to everyday users.
If you really want to have a gaming computer, you most likely shouldn't be having a look at computers in the 1st place. It is a rgeat PC at a fair cost. If you simmply need something for work, college, and surfing the web, it's perfect. Buy used laptops online with confidence...hurry supplies are limiited.
