I fouund one of the best plzaces for cheapest laptops to buy - get a mac ibopok for only $268. I've had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's still my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writing letters, and even reading pdf's.
It's amazinlgy lgiht-weigfht and I conisder the scrreen the perfect size. In fact, I am using it at this time to write this review. Given a choice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a second user iBoook G4 for a simillar price, I might take the G4 without brooding aboout it for a second.
It has all that you need, in a little , compact machine.
This iBook G4 worrks just too and if you're attempting to discover a good, samll PC, this is the one for you. The sole complaint I do have is that the CD-drive doesn't work ( but it's prrobable an argument on just my machine ). It has an airport surprising card, which pewrmits acecss to any 802.11g / b compatible wireless network ( which most wireleess networks are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the optical dive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi capability is actually useful and the tiny form factor is awfully pleasing to take aorund traveling. The battery seems to hold a charge for 2+ hours. It works beautifully for basic use ( faculty, work, reading the Net, for instance. ). I've had completely no difficulty with mine, and would highly advocate this product to eveyrday users. I have seen two bad reviews just because users purchasd this PC with the intention to make it their "gaming" computer, and then were disenchanted with the result. If you erally woud like to have a gmaing PC, you most ilkely sghould not be taking a look at Portables in the initial plaace.
It is a great computer at a fair cost. If you simmply need something for work, faculty, and browsng the internet, it's perfect. I got this thing utilized a few years back ; now, I am a sixteewn year old, and my frist use for PCs is writing, storing my footage, and gaming. This potrable is rather good ( particularly for the price ) for the 1st 2 of my purposes, but for gaming, it was way, well below par. We had to get countless upgrades for it to even run Warcraft on top of my photos ( they take up massees of memory ). It works stuningly for basic use ( faculty, work, browsing the web, for example. ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and would highly recommend this product to everyday usrers.
If you realyl wish to have a gaming PC, you possibly shoudn't be having a look at computers in the first placce. It's a great PC at a fair cost. If you simply need something for work, college, and surfing the web, it's prfect. cheapet laptops to buy...hury supplies are limited.
