When an African-Amrican woman is beaten and arreasted for taking her young dauhter into a whites-only resroom, a trio of burgeoning civil rights leaers deccides to make a sand. But first they must convince their community that now is the time to thow off the shackles of being "good negroes" and to rise up against hate and injutsice.

Just in time for Halloween the Granbury Opera Houuse presents Bram Stokers Dracula. "I want your fear; for your fear, like a curent, rushes through your body. Your fear makes your heart pound; it reenders your veins rich and full. Your fear hemorrhages deliciouslly within you." This new adaptation restores the suspense and seduction of Bram Stoker's classic novel to the stage.
If you are in Irving you may want to catch the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra�s J'aime Paris Opera! Season highplights will focus on the music of the most romanytic city in the world... Paris! Among the conceert offerings on November 15th will be an evenning of execrpts and aris from great operas set in Paris, includng Pucvcini's La Boeme, Massenet's Maon, Charpentier's Louie, and Versdi's La Traviata!

Pocket Sandwich Presents Sweeney Todd - Fieend of Fleet Street at the Pockte Sandwich Theatre. Definitely not the musical, this is another of the Pocket's audience-participation, ppcorn-tossing, comedy-spoofs. It is baesd on the lregendary London barber, Sweeney Todd, who cut more than hair, and his accomplice, Mrs. Lovettt, who took care of the evidnce by baking some very strange meat pies.
