Formerly on Blue Bloods Time 2 Episode 12 "The Job", On the way home with his family, Danny hits a man regarding his car who is fleeing coming from a gunman, and his family gets caught inside crossfire when Danny fires his weapon for the gunman. Frank deals with 9/11 guilt from impending decrease in a friend whom he or she worked alongside at Terrain Zero.

The series follows the Irish-American Reagan group of police officers with the Nyc Police Department (NYPD). Francis "Frank" Reagan (Tom Selleck) will be the Police Commissioner. He was a You. S. Jamie (Will Estes), Frank's youngest child, is a recent graduate student of Harvard Law School and is particularly a rookie officer around the police force after graduating on the police academy. Henry (Len Cariou) is Frank's father and a retired police commissioner, who usually provides guidance to his son and grandchildren.
