Formerly on Supernatural Season 7 Show 13 "The Slice Girls", Sam and Dean investigate an incident where the victims' hands and feet are actually severed and each are actually branded with a weird symbol. While Sam does some research in a local university, Dean heads to certainly one of his favorite places to analyze - the town tavern. Dean strikes up a conversation which has a local named Lydia (Sara Canning), and the two return to her place. Sam discovers the symbol around the bodies is a warning of Amazon warriors.

The current executive companies are Eric Kripke, McG, and Robert Singer; former executive producer Ellie Manners died of lung cancer during production in the fourth season.
The series, which is filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, was in development for nearly ten years, as creator Kripke spent a long period unsuccessfully pitching it. The pilot was viewed by nearly 5. 69 million viewers, and the ratings from the first four episodes prompted The WB to post the series for an entire season. Originally, Kripke planned the line for three seasons, but later expanded the idea to five.
