Recently on CSI: New York Season 8 Episode 12, "Brooklyn Til I Die", The CSIs investigate each time a role-playing game turns deadly, with one player falling victim to some bona fide killer and the other kidnapped and used for ransom.
On this week's show title "The Ripple Effect", When the CSIs research two seemingly unrelated deaths, their separate trails of evidence bring about a surprisingly connected realization.
Det. Mack "Mac" Taylor, a dedicated and influenced crime-scene investigator who believes that everything is connected and everyone has a story, is a decorated Sea who served in Wilderness Storm and dabbled throughout war photography. The job is his or her life; he focuses on cases until they are solved. He and his partner, Stella Bonasera, a well-traveled, well-educated detective, an orphan who flourished despite the system, share a passion with the job. Stella is a jack-of-all-trades and it has an unmatched desire to discover answers for the victims of violent crimes, due in part to help questions about her prior.
They lead a team of experts with the gritty and kinetic metropolis that never sleeps. The team includes Danny Messer, an investigator with an unflappable spirit plus a troubled family history, which he uses face to face as he blends his or her own set of hybrid integrity. Messer was personally selected to join the team by Macintosh, and he attempts daily to surpass that honor and responsibility. Sheldon Hawkes is the crime lab's former coroner, a brilliant Ph. D. who transitioned to the particular field team. Joining them is Put on Flack, an edgy, hardcore homicide detective using a quick wit, impressive forensic insight plus a long family history in authorities and Lindsay Monroe, a young, athletic CSI with a Midwestern work ethic who is willing to roll way up her sleeves to deal with any job and rarely hints on the dark and devastating technique that originally motivated the woman's to dedicate her life to becoming an investigator. Rounding out the crew is lab rat Adam Ross in addition to eccentric coroner Dr. Sid Hammerback.
The New York CSIs might have a different process from those in Nevada or Miami, but they are guided through the same steadfast determination. These skilled investigators follow the evidence as they piece jointly clues and eliminate doubt, to ultimately crack their cases.
CSI: NY (Crime Landscape Investigation: New York) is an American police procedural tv set series that premiered upon September 22, 2004, on CBS. The show follows the investigations of the team of NYPD forensic scientists and law enforcement officers as they unveil the actual circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths and also other crimes. The series was the next indirect spin-off from your veteran series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation along with directly from CSI: Miami during an episode in which several of the CSI: NY characters made their particular first appearance. Currently the show airs on Fridays at 9pm/8c with CBS; in the UK the item airs on Channel Five on Saturdays at 10pm along with repeats usually shown in Five USA.
Originally, CSI: NY was produced in partnership with the Canadian media corporation Alliance Atlantis. The company dissolved after the third season in 2007 and all production is currently done under the purview associated with CBS Paramount Television.
