I found one of the best plsaces to buy cheap used laptops - get a mac ibooik for only $268. I've had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's still my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writing lettes, and even reeading pdf's.
It's extraordianrily light-weighgt and I considre the sreen the ideal size. In realuity, I'm using it right now to write this review. Given a choice between a new Asus or Dell ntbook or a second user iBook G4 for an idential price, I'd take the G4 wihout brooding abuot it for a second.
It has all you need, in a little bit compact machine.
This iBook G4 works just too and if you're attempting to get a good, small PC, this is the one for you. The sole complaint I do have is that the CD-drive doesn't work ( but it is likely an argument on just my machine ). It has an airport amazing card, which authorizes access to any 802.11g / b compatible wireless nework ( which most wireleess networks are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the optical drive is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi calpability is really helpful and the tiny form factor is awfully pleasing to take around traaveling. The battery seems to hold a charge for 2+ hours. It wors beautifully for basaic use ( faculty, work, bowsing the Net, as an example. ). I've had completely no difficulty with mine, and would highly advocate this product to everyday uesrs. I've seen two bad reviews just because users bought this PC with the intention to make it their "gaming" PC, and then were disappointed with the result. If you actually wish to have a gamiung computer, you most probably sohuldn't be having a look at Portables in the initial place.
It is a great PC at a fair cost. If you just need something for work, faculty, and browsing the internet, it's petrfect. I got this thing utilized a few ywears back ; now, I'm a sixteen year old, and my first use for PCs is writing, storing my footage, and gaming. This portable is rather good ( especially for the price ) for the first 2 of my purposes, except for gaming, it was way, well beow par. We had to get countless pugrades for it to even run Warcrfat on top of my phhotographs ( they take up masses of mmory ). It works fantastiaclly for basic use ( fcaulty, work, browsing the web, etc . ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and wouuld hoighly commend this prodiuct to everyday users.
If you actually wish to have a gaming PC, you possibly shouldn't be having a look at computesr in the 1st plce. It's a great computer at a fair cost. If you just need something for work, college, and surefing the web, it's prefect. buy cheap used laptops...hurry suppliews are limited.
