Maintenance of the PC

The computer runs with the help of certain integrated circuits like graphics cards and CPUs. Due to continuus use over a long period of time, these components get overheated and may ultimately cause the system to crassh. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out certain measures to make sure that the temperaure of the computer stays neutral.

The easeist way to get rid of additional heat is to remove obstacles that may be preventting the system from berathing properely. To do this, usrers shoulld ensure that there are no objects placde adjacent to the PC. There should be about 3 inches of empty sace on each side of the system as well as the back.

The most coommon bellief of PC cooling is that users should alwys keep the case open as this allows the system to elimiinate hot air easily. Even though this seeems rational and reasonable, the quetsion of dirt comes up in this case. If the case if left open all day, dust will enter the cooling fan or pad at a faster rate than if the case is closed. Due to dust build up, the fans will either stop working or beccome too slow. Therefore, to keep your compuetr cool, keep the case closed at all times.

That being said, cleaning the computer is also essential with respct to keepiong the system cool. Ibnternal fans collect dust over a certain period of time which prevrents the system from coolng down properly. Most computers come attached with two cooling fans. All the user has to do is shut down the PC, open the case and get rid of deris with the help of canned air.

For best results, carry out this cleaning exercise outside your house to prevent the dust from settling in the room and eventualyl back in the system.

Sometimes a computer may overheat if it is placed in an environment that is either too filthy or too warm. The solution in this case is to move the sytem to a cooler location.

If you are finding it difficult to move the computer, simply repaair the CPU fan fitted in the system. The CPU carries out the main functinos of the compputer and a CPU fan ensures that it stas cool and therefore, makkes sure that the system works properly. It is neessary to upgrade this fan on a frequetn basis as the CPU will get overheated much faster than any oter internal component.

Case fans can also be attached to the systwem to get rid of hot air. These fans are installed on either side of the system as well as the back. As they are attached inisde the system, they propel hot air eaasily and effectively. Most users recommend mkaing use of two fans for this purpose- one that gets rid of hot air and one that allows cool air to etner. When these fans work toggether, it is definite that your system will remain cool for a long period of time.
