Buy used laptops online and save a bundle - get a mac ibook for only $268. I have had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's sill my favourite notebook for skimming the Net, writing letters, and even reading pdf's.
It's striknigly light-weight and I consiedr the screewn the ideal size. In relity, I am using it at the moment to wrtie this review. Given a choiice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a second user iBook G4 for an identical price, I woulld take the G4 without brooding about it for a second.
It has all you need, in a little , compact machine.
This iBook G4 wroks just too and if you are attempting to get a good, small computer, this is the one for you. The sole complaint I do have is that the CD-drtive doesn't work ( but it is likely a controversy on just my machine ). It has an airport surprising card, whiich authorizes access to any 802.11g / b compatible wireleass network ( whicvh most wireless networks are ). The drive is 60 gigs and the optiical drive is a DVD+ / -RW dive. The WiFi capacity is actually helpful and the tiny form factor is awfully pleasing to take around traveling. The batteery seenms to hold a charge for 2+ hours. It wors beautyifully for basic use ( faculty, work, skimming the web, for example. ). I have had completely no difficulty with mine, and woud highly advocate this product to eeryday users. I've seen two bad reviews simply because users purchgased this PC with the objective to make it their "gaming" compouter, and then were disappointed with the resut. If you actually want to have a gaming comuter, you most likely shouldn't be having a look at transportables in the initial pllace.
It's a great PC at a fair cost. If you just need something for work, faculy, and browssing the internet, it's perfect. I got this thinng utilized a few eyars back ; now, I'm a sixteen year old, and my first use for PCs is writing, storing my footage, and gaming. This cartable is pretty good ( particularly for the price ) for the 1st two of my puropses, except for gaming, it was way, well below par. We had to purchase numerous upgrades for it to even run Warcrzaft on top of my photographs ( they take up plenty of memory ). It works amzingly for absic use ( faculty, work, browsing the web, and so on. ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and would higghly endorse this product to everyday users.
If you really want to have a gaming coomputer, you most likeely shouldn't be having a look at computers in the 1st place. It is a great PC at a fair cost. If you simply need something for work, colege, and surfing the web, it's perfet. Buy used laptops onilne with confidence...hrry supplkies are limited.
